As a Quality Assurance Test Coordinator within the Production Services department, you will be part of the Quality Assurance team. Under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be supporting the Quality Control Project Managers in their missions.
As such, you will assist the creation of test plans, and ensure their constant monitoring by keeping a constant link with external testing teams to ensure the information is up-to-date and fully shared. You will monitor the day-to-day testing, extract major facts from reports and create statistics related to game testing progress, as well as directly perform playthroughs with the rest of the Quality Assurance Team.
Your main responsibilities include (non-exhaustive list) :
- Being the interface between the developers and external testers. Give all information related to the game to testers and explain bugs found to developers
- Monitor the delivery of versions and ensure they enter testing as planned
- Monitor and update the bug database on a daily basis
- Collaborate to the test plans creation, ensure they are properly used by testers and follow the feedback from testers and questions from the developers
- Create and share testing instructions with testers, as well as any information coming from the developers
- Monitor the tests of the game materials (manual, package...), as well as ratings assets delivery
- Test the games, to benchmark the results coming from external vendors
- Participate in regular playthroughs and internal reviews of the build, in collaboration with other Test Coordinators and the Production Team
- Handle the checks of feedback coming from customers
- Create and maintain graphics and statistics to be used by the QAPM and producer to monitor the game and testing process
Profil recherché
- Bachelor's degree (BAC+3) with project management knowledge
- Previous professional experience in a development studio or a publisher is a plus
- Mastery of Microsoft Office software (Excel, SharePoint...)
- Strong experience in JIRA use, including flow creation, dashboards, and custom filters creation (JIRA admin experience is a plus)
- Expert understanding of video games testing methodology, associated tools, and hardware
- Strong knowledge of video game production and development cycles
- Knowledge of the video game industry and game types
- Fluent level of English, both written and oral
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Rigorous, conscientious, and curious
- Strong teamwork skills (with both internal and external parties)
