The Centre for Research and Interdisciplinarity (CRI) is leading international and national projects in innovative approaches in research and education. The CRI Game Lab is dedicated to developing games for science, learning, and social change.

Located in the Montparnasse tower, the CRI was founded in 2005 as a convivial place at the crossroad between Life Sciences and exact, natural, cognitive and social sciences. Researchers at the CRI are involved in studying and initiating projects at the interface of Science, education and society, spanning from young children, high school students from disadvantaged environment and graduate students.

Aimed at promoting the interaction between graduate students and researchers, diverse student-lead workshops, open to the entire scientific Paris community, are held on a bi-weekly basis. Through the clubs, students initiated projects emerged such as award-winning Paris iGEM team and the Interdisciplinary approaches to web sciences.

Narrative designer for visual novel on diversity

The GameLab at the Center for Research and Interdisciplinarity (CRI) is looking for a narrative designer who would like work with us to develop games that promote diversity and inclusivity.

We are looking for a writer who can help us improve a visual novel about resolving conflicts around diversity in the workplace.

IncLudo ( is a joint EU-India development project with the goal of creating games that promote diversity and inclusivity in the workplace. Within the project, CRI and ZMQ have developed a number of open source game prototypes of different forms, from mobile games to board games to interactive fiction, and tested them within organizations of different kinds in India.

Previous experience in game creation (at work or in personal projects) is a big plus.

Profil du candidat

  • Since the game is meant for an Indian audience, the person should have lived in India for a long while.
  • Previous work on narrative design for games is a big plus.
  • Experience with the Indian workplace is a big plus.
