DigixArt is a french indie studio founded in 2015 in Montpellier, south of France. Its ambition is to offer meaningful and memorable gaming experiences to a wide audience. After the success of the first game Lost in Harmony, the team is growing to bring its experience and artistic sensitivity to a second project on console platforms. This wonderful project is supported by a major publisher and will be revealed later on.

DigixArt is looking for an experienced Gameplay Programmer to work on an ambitious multiplatform project.
We are looking for a versatile and self-motivated developer with a true passion for console/PC gaming and polished experiences. You enjoy working in a dynamic and agile environment and are not afraid of communicating your ideas and needs to other team members. Candidates should have an interest to build full-length games, from prototypes to production support, participating to all aspects of the gameplay creation process.
  • Be involved in day-to-day discussions about system design and architecture
  • Review and mentor the other, more junior engineers on the team
  • Help improve Unity3D workflows, pipelines and best practices
  • Deliver high performance, high-quality code
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks
  • Build efficient and reusable systems
  • Prioritize and execute tasks using Agile methodologies

Profil du candidat

  • Minimum 5 years experience shipping titles on console platforms
  • Previously worked the full life cycle of game development, from dev to release
  • Intermediate to advanced Unity3D experience
  • Familiarity with TRC for PS4 and Xbox One
  • Demonstrable 3D Gameplay programming knowledge, including AI, animation, camera control, input mechanisms, etc.,
  • Excellent C# ability, Unity understanding
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent ability to work effectively within a team and interact with a large variety of profiles (game designers, producers...)
  • Responsible
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Quick to pick up new tools and systems
  • Confident in your work and care about the quality of what you produce
  • A passion for creating games
