Old Skull Games is a video game development studio specialized in free-to-play games on smartphones and tablets, based on strong Intellectual Properties. Founded by video game industries veterans, but also animation, Old Skull Games occasionally creates animations for movies and video games, and ventures on the home console market.
In 2017, after a strong growth and with its 25 audacious pirates, the Old Skull Game ship is sailing to new challenges with the production of its new major intellectual property : a multiplayer RPG on mobile and tablets.

In the context of the launch of its brand new ambitious online RPG project for mobile, Old Skull Games is looking for an Art Director with a strong experience in F2P mobile to board its ship. In charge of a team of 6 artists, you will be a driving force and inspire your team to give the best of themselves.
Your buccaneer tasks :
Define, communicate and champion our games' visual style and ensure consistency across all areas of products.
Work hands-on with any art-related tasks when necessary.
Define and validate all technical and quality aspects of Art.
Collaborate with the Producer and Scrum Master to define and prioritise tasks.
Support the creative and professional development of the Artists through coaching and mentoring.
Be ultimately responsible for anything related to Art, and for the well-being of the Artists.
Profil du candidat
Your old sailor profile :
10+ years of experience in the game industry, including 4+ years as an art director
Great skills and experience in Art Direction with the ability to define, communicate and champion an Artistic vision.
A full understanding and ability to direct all areas of game art, including modern 2D and 3D pipelines.
Experienced in UI/UX and the ability to create industry standard UI.
Experienced in Branding and Marketing Art.
Experienced in creating documentation such as style-guides, moodboards.
Experienced in people and project management and an understanding of required skills for your team to deliver amazing work.
A passion for sharing and coaching fellow artists.
Strong communication skills.
An advanced level of proficiency with industry standard art softwares.
Experienced with agile methodology, where change is expected and embraced.
