Description du poste

As a Level Artist, you will be integrated in Holodia's Virtual Reality 3D studio.

You will work closely with the Lead 3D artist and the Artistic Director as well as with game developers, 3D modellers and animators.
You will be responsible of the level design, lighting and graphical composition of our VR environments by creating appealing visual interest from different points of view respecting artistic, technical and gameplay-related constraints.

Level Artist duties and responsibilities :
  • Design VR-friendly environments according to mood-boards and vision from Artistic Director.
  • Create appealing point of interests and events using 3D teams's assets.
  • Design complex but performance-efficient scene lighting.
  • Suggest and participate in the realisation of gameplays compatible with VR sport.
  • Generally participate in enhancing our products by being a force of proposition.

Profil du candidat

Level Artist requirements and qualifications :
  • You have 5+ years of experience as a Level Artist in game industry using Unity Engine.
  • You have an excellent sense of scene composition.
  • You are autonomous, organised, pro-active and adaptive.
  • You have good relational skills and appreciate working with/supporting other team members.
Good to have :
  • You have 5+ years of experience as a Lead Level Artist in AAA game industry using Unity Engine.
  • You are able to imagine new environment themes like an Artistic Director.
  • You are able to produce moodboards and various 2D drawings.
  • You are able to produce 3D models and animation.
  • You love video games and the video game industry.
  • You like photography, cinema, filming.
  • You like sport and fitness.
  • You like art history.
  • You like LEGO.
  • Master's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
