Wild Sheep est un studio indépendant basé à Montpellier.

Composé de vétérans de l'industrie mais aussi de jeunes talents, ce studio à taille humaine se consacre à la réalisation de son premier jeu vidéo, WILD.

Conçu d'après une idée originale de Michel Ancel, WILD repose sur un monde vivant et systémique, peuplé d'une faune à la fois réaliste et mystique gouvernée par de puissantes divinités.

Graphics Programmer

Position Duties

The missions
  • You will help build, optimize and support our proprietary graphics engine.
  • Maintaining/improving render engine backend.
  • Work with other developers and the creative team to develop and optimize graphics features.
  • You will keep up-to-date with new developments in your field, and independently research and develop improvements to continuously push our technology forward

Candidate Profile

Who you are
  • You have demonstrable experience in - and knowledge of - general graphics engine development from low-level to high-level systems.
  • You have console experience with at least one shipped title.
  • You have a desire to research, learn and improve your own knowledge and share it with others

You have
  • Experience of graphics engine development and optimization.
  • Extensive knowledge of C/C++ and concurrent programming.
  • Extensive knowledge of 3d programming.
  • Knowledge of modern GPU architecture.
  • Strong 3d maths skills, from linear algebra to modern PBR maths
  • Experience developing content pipelines and workflows

Collaborative skills :
  • Able to participate in code review and discuss with other programmers about features that would fit in the game.
  • Able to discuss with artists about what works visually and would fit in the game.
  • Professional level of English required
