Kahoot ! is looking for a Senior Web Game Developer to join us on an adventure to develop the next generation of math learning experiences.

We are looking for a user centered, structured, and energetic developer with a passion for learning and enthusiasm for creating products that kids will love.

Your responsibilities

You'll be joining our team in building new products and maintaining existing ones. Some areas you can expect to work on include :

• Actively participating in design and product meetings, as well as contributing to the wider development team discussion.
  
• Gameplay development and animation implementation.
  
• UI development in React.
  
• Working with audio engineers to implement sound and music effects.
  

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in web development, with commercial experience in TypeScript and React.
  
• Commercial experience with PixiJS or other WebGL / WebGPU rendering frameworks.
  
• A good understanding of animation techniques using libraries like GSAP and Spine.
  
• Strong communication. We have a hybrid working set up, and our team is multidisciplinary and multicultural.
  
• An eye for process and structure, and experience using version control.
