ABRAKAM ENTERTAINMENT is the game developer behind Faeria (2017) and Roguebook (2021). All our titles are developped for PC and consoles. Abrakam is partnering with fantastic people to create their games and IP, the creator of Magic the Gathering, Richard Garfield, has collaborated as co-author on the creation of Roguebook.
ABRAKAM is specialized in strategy and card games and has developed their own tools to facilitate the development of games in this genre. ABRAKAM is animated by a strong indie vibe, enjoying the crafting of great quality titles out of a mid size team, where every member has the chance to have a significant impact on the final product.
Senior 3D Artist
Permanent contract Liège (Belgique)
After the successful launch our second games Faeria and Roguebook, we are looking for a Senior 3D Artist to help us craft our IP and games. You love creating polished gameplay assets and environments, from concept to rendering ? And you have a devouring passion for gaming ? Then maybe you are the one we are looking for ! This job is a full time position, remote is a possibility depending on the timezone but on site is preferred (Liège / Belgium).
Create detailed and inspiring 3D assets of all kinds : characters, props, environments.
Partner with creative leadership to realize the vision of the game and develop our graphical universes.
Mentor and assist other artists in achieving great assets and improve their skills.
Participate to game review sessions : Play the game as it is being developed and help us understand how to make it better.
Collaborate with all members of the team to make sure artworks fit within technical, design, and production requirements.
At least 4 years of professional experience as a 3D artist in game development.
Demonstrated ability to ship 3D gameplay assets (models + texturing).
Capable of integrating gameplay assets, test and tweak them directly in the game.
Great modelling and rendering techniques.
Eye for light, good understanding of composition, shade, colors.
Passionate gamer, team player.
Good spoken and written English.
Must be willing to complete an art test.
Experience using the Unity engine and Git versioning.
Experience using Blender.
Love for card game, or strategy games or RPGs.
This role is to be held on site at our offices in Liège / Belgium.
