Pixel Artist 2D

Position Duties

We're at the stage where we're scaling our Studio team as one of our key teams. We want to develop games that are adapted to our platform and will make it all the more enjoyable.

We are looking for a passionate 2D pixel artist who is highly independent, creative and motivated.

What you will be doing :
  • The role involves taking charge of visual design of original 2D games from scratch.
  • Create character concepts, environments and backgrounds.
  • Create game interfaces and menus.
  • You will be working with a lead artist and reporting to both him and the producer.

Candidate Profile

What are looking for :
  • 2-5 years of experience as an artist, preferably a pixel artist. Or having worked on 4-8 different projects.
  • Good knowledge of 2D editing tools, like Aseprite and photoshop, to be able to deliver any kind of good quality 2D assets.
  • 2D Animation skills.
  • Excellent understanding of lighting and shading pixel art techniques.
  • Create character concepts, environments and backgrounds.
  • Create game interfaces and menus.
  • Good knowledge of retro games.
  • Self-motivation : highly autonomous & working capabilities.
  • Communication & Teamwork :
    • Excellent communication and organization skills, team spirit, proactivity.
    • Active involvement in the game creation process by interacting with the game design team.
    • Be able to interact at different stages of an asset production, from conception to implementation and animation.
  • Good spoken and written communication skills (English)
