Internship Description
Lightbulb Crew is looking for a talented gameplay programmer to join our existing game development team for our multiplatform game, as well as coming projects. As a programmer, you will work closely with project managers, designers and artists on end-to-end feature implementation, from inception (initial design discussions, specification) to completion (design approved, code reviewed, test passed).
We are looking for someone who will :
Implement, debug and refine gameplay features through rapid prototyping and iterative development.
Write clear, maintainable code with performances and bugfix in mind.
Enjoy tackling various topics ranging from fine-tuning controls and camera behaviour to writing procedural generation algorithms.
Collaborate with designers and artists, providing them with tools and technical support when needed.
Strive to deliver the best game experience through constructive criticism and creative contributions.
Eager to continuously improve his skills and knowledge.
Candidate Profile
The ideal person for the job has :
MS in Computer Science, Game Design or related background.
Strong C# programming and experience with Unity3D. Knowledge in C programming and visual scripting is a plus.
Excellent logical, analytical and mathematical skills.
Good understanding of multiplatforms' constraints and best practices.
Passion about games and understanding what makes them fun.
Great communication and organisation skills.
Fluent in both french and english languages (written and spoken).
Bonus points for experience with :
Agile development methodology and tools, unit testing, continuous integration, etc.
Team player, helpful, responsible, problem solver, personal investment.
Additional Information
Contract : Internship ("convention de stage" mandatory).
Location : 157 Boulevard MacDonald, 75019, Paris or remote.
Remuneration : according to profile (reimbursement of 50% of transport tickets).
