Internship Description
Dear Villagers works with talented developers / studios from around the world to help them achieve their projects' highest goals. As a QA Tester, you will be an integral part of that process from the beginning as you verify the quality of each game build we receive. I'll have the opportunity to work on many different games, productions such as the award-winning The Forgotten City or the most recently acclaimed Foretales.
You will :
Be the first person to see every build of every game.
Contribute to verifying that each build is stable enough for the other Villagers to play.
Learn how to provide feedback for every build (milestones or intermediate) from very early in the development process through game launch.
Contribute to reports which help others understand each game's development status.
Create video clips which demonstrate where quality can be improved in each game.
Submit issues / feedback with just enough detail (and plenty of screenshots / videos ! ).
Participate to validation of issues when they have been reportedly resolved in a new build.
Candidate Profile
Fluent in English and French
Proficiency in other languages would be a plus
Good communication skills
Systematically organized
Versality and capacity to adapt to very different game projects
Solid knowledge of video game design and common game tropes
No professional experience is required but an educational cursus or any past experience in the video game industry is a bonus
