We're looking for a freelance Business Developer to join a bold creative project at the crossroads of cinematics, VFX, and AI.

LUX is a newly launched studio focused on real-time storytelling (Unreal Engine), creative tech, and AI-enhanced production workflows. We're kicking things off fast - and we need someone sharp, driven, and strategic to help bring in early business, shape our offering, and grow with us.

Your mission :
  • Land small-to-mid-size cinematic and VFX projects (indie games, tech startups, agencies)
  • Open doors, close deals, build the client base
  • Collaborate directly with the founder to co-design our sales strategy and client pitch

Freelance only - 2 days / week - 100% commission (strong structure) - remote
Industry focus : creative tech, games, AI pipelines, realtime VFX
Priority markets : France, North America, North Africa

Who You Are
  • You're not just a salesperson. You're a strategic partner - someone who thrives in tight collaboration, shares ideas in real time, and wants to build something smart and meaningful from scratch.
  • You want more than a sales pipeline - you want a seat at the table, a say in the direction, and a founder to challenge and be challenged by.

You :
  • Think and act like a co-pilot, not an outsourced closer
  • Thrive on daily or weekly iteration, working closely with the founder to define strategy, messaging, and deal flow
  • Have a real sense of communication - not just for sales, but for honest, transparent teamwork
  • Know that early business isn't just about leads - it's about showing up, meeting people, digging up opportunities
  • Enjoy networking, going to industry events, engaging in communities, and finding angles others miss
  • Are proactive about making connections : studios, startups, events, partnerships - you want to put LUX on the map

Minimum must-haves :
  • Freelancer with proper invoicing status
  • Proven experience in sales / business development (2-3+ years)
  • Fluent English speaker / writer with excellent communication skills
  • Strong hunter mindset : you're not afraid of cold outreach, smart prospecting, and closing deals
  • You're deeply autonomous but value true collaboration and shared ownership

Strong pluses :
  • Background or network in creative industries (games, VFX, production, tech)
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine, AI tools, or creative pipelines
  • Previous work in early-stage or founder-led environments
  • You're someone who's not just looking for leads, but for moments that create trust - the kind that turn into real clients
