Gameplay Programmer (Unreal XP required)

Permanent contract Paris (75)

Position Duties

You'll be joining a dynamic and motivated GPP team of 4 where you can freely express yourself and thrive as a team !

Under the supervision of the GPP Director you'll be in charge of :
  • Tackle some challenging areas of the game
  • Help maintain an overall structured project
  • Implement tests to keep a sane environment

Your main objectives would be :
  • Prototype and implement new and existing systems to meet game design intent
  • Understand existing architecture, suggest and develop improvements
  • Follow and improve the production pipeline
  • Write documentation

Candidate Profile

In more details :
  • You have shipped at least one game
  • You are experienced with Unreal (at least 4 years)
  • You have a solid understanding of modern C++
  • You are committed to producing readable, efficient and structured code
  • You are comfortable with debugging unfamiliar code
  • You value unit and functional tests
  • You are curious, open to others, and like teamworking
  • You are as interested in getting better as helping the team getting better
  • You believe in the power of stories (and games) to heal and imagine a better future.

Nice to have :
  • Credited in one released game with Unreal
  • Software architecture skills
  • Autonomous and proactive attitude
  • Experience with console development
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, French and English both written and spoken
