Tools Programmer

Permanent contract Paris (75)

Position Duties

You'll join a dynamic and motivated Engine & Tools team where you can freely express yourself and contribute to a positive team environment.

Under the supervision of the Engine & Tools Technical Director, you'll be in charge of the following :
  • Interact with game developers, artists, and designers to help them to craft a unique experience for the players.
  • Improve their workflow by creating a new bunch of tools based on Unreal Engine.

Missions :
  • Participate in the writing of the specifications of the tools with the other departments.
  • Research and develop tools to meet the specifications of other departments.
  • Write documentation and supports teams to use tools.
  • Continue and improve the existing code base.
  • Participate in the review process as a team.
  • Navigate through Unreal Engine code to find potential existing solutions.

Candidate Profile

Hard Skills :
  • Unreal Engine 4/5.
  • C++, C#.
  • UML.

Soft Skills :
  • Be curious about tools and game engine technologies, rigorous, and organized.
  • Communicate with other departments.
  • Have good listening skills and a good team spirit.
  • Be able to give and receive feedback.

XP :
  • 2 or 3 years of experience in programming tools under Unreal Engine.
  • Any tool projects.
