Position Duties
As a programmer, you will join the core technology team and develop new innovative, state of the art features, in collaboration with game teams around the world.
You will be in direct contact with the producer and the lead programmer to help shape & maintain the roadmap.
More precisely, your main missions will be the following :
- Help develop the Metal GPU simulation backend, working on MacOs
- Research and develop new rendering features (Metal, D3D, Vulkan, Console APIs)
- Maintain & improve rendering code for the PopcornFX editor
- Maintain & improve the PopcornFX plugins (UE5, Unity, O3DE, Godot, After Effects)
- Development of PopcornFX related features for customer projects
- Customer support for their in-house PopcornFX rendering integrations
- Internal support for artists
Candidate Profile
What you'll bring :
- Strong C++ knowledge
- Strong knowledge of 3D maths
- Good knowledge of modern GPU architectures & rendering techniques
- Experience with CPU and GPU profiling and optimization
- Experience with graphics APIs (Metal, D3D, Vulkan)
- Experience with game engines (Unity, UE, O3DE...)
- Technical English is required
Pluses :
- Like working on MacOs
- Experience with version management systems (git, perforce, svn)
- Experience with additional graphics APIs (Consoles, OpenGL ...)
- Autonomous, proactive and have good interpersonal skills
- Constantly looking to improve the user experience
