ABRAKAM ENTERTAINMENT is the AA Video Game Developer of 'Faeria' (2017) and Roguebook (2021). All our titles are developped for PC and consoles. Abrakam is partnering with fantastic people to create their games and IP, the creator of Magic the Gathering, Richard Garfield, has helped as a co-auhtor on the crafting of Roguebook.
ABRAKAM is specialized in strategy and card games and has developed their own tools to facilitate the development of games in this genre. ABRAKAM is animated by a strong indie vibration, enjoying the crafting of great quality titles out of a mid size team.
Senior Game Artist (Generalist)

After the successful launch of our second game Roguebook, we are looking for a Senior Game Artist to help us craft our IP and games. You love creating polished gameplay assets and environements, from concept to rendering ? And you have a devouring passion for gaming ? Then maybe you are the one we are looking for ! This job is a full time position, remote is a possibility depending on the timezone but on site is preferred (Liège/Belgium).
Create detailed and inspiring gameplay assets of all kinds : characters, props, environments, UI.
Partner with creative leadership to realize the vision of the game and develop the Faeria IP.
Mentor and assist other artists in achieving great assets and improve their skills.
Participate to game review sessions : Play the game as it is being developped and help us understand how to make it better.
Collaborate with all members of the team to make sure artworks fit within technical, design, and production requirements.
4-5+ years professional experience as a 2D artist in game development.
Demonstrated capacity to ship 2D gameplay assets at a steady pace.
Ability to integrate gameplay assets and test them directly in the game.
Great rendering techniques.
Eye for light, good understanding of composition, shade, colors.
Team player, loving to learn new tools and techniques.
Good spoken and written English.
Must be willing to complete an art test.
Experience using the Unity engine and Git versioning.
Experience as a concept artist.
Experience as a 3D artist.
Love for card game and/or strategy game and/or roguelikes.
