Sandfall Interactive is an independent video game studio based in Montpellier, France, with additional offices in Paris.
Founded in 2020, we created Clair Obscur : Expedition 33, a 3D turn-based RPG blending fantasy and Belle Époque aesthetics, built on Unreal Engine 5 and published by Kepler Interactive, which won Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2025 and received widespread acclaim around the world.

As IT & Infrastructure Manager, your mission will be to maintain and improve the studio's internal infrastructure, focusing on both hardware and software, allowing the development team to work in the best possible environment to unleash their creativity.
Working closely with the programming team and external IT partners, you will maintain and evolve the systems that support our development workflows, from on-premises servers and build machines to identity management and internal services.
This is a hands-on technical role combining day-to-day infrastructure ownership with longer-term improvements to the studio's IT environment.

$Your main responsibilities
- Infrastructure & networking : oversee our on-premises servers, storage systems, build machines, and deploy a high-bandwidth network infrastructure
- Development infrastructure : maintain and optimize critical development services, including our versioning server and the infrastructure supporting our build pipelines
- Security & reliability : implement and maintain security measures, identity management, monitoring, back-up and disaster recovery procedures
- Infrastructure improvements : integrate new servers & tools, manage software deployment, SSO integrations
- IT Operations : coordinate with external IT partners handling fleet management & hardware repairs, handle hardware inventory (purchase, tracking), deploy new machines
- Provide support to the team for IT issues beyond our external partners' scope
- Collaborate with the programming team on development infrastructure, internal services and DevOps topics
Profil recherché
- Experience : 3+ years of IT experience in a professional context is required
- Skills :
- Proficient with both Windows Server and Linux environments
- Experience with Active Directory / Microsoft Entra, Group Policies, IAM & SSO integrations
- Experience administering on-premises server and storage infrastructure, including NAS, backups, infrastructure monitoring and recovery coordination
- Strong knowledge of network hardware. Experience with high-bandwidth LAN infrastructure is a plus.
- Knowledgeable about security best practices and incident management
- You know your way around common admin consoles (Microsoft, Google Workspace, ...)
- Proactive in suggesting and implementing infrastructure improvements
- You are familiar with Helix P4 server administration
- You are comfortable troubleshooting common end-user hardware issues
- You are able to create your own scripts and small tools for internal use when needed
- You are organized, able to provide clear briefs on complex technical topics, and communicate easily with both technical and non-technical users
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine workflows (compilation, packaging, tools), Horde and/or Teamcity is a plus
- Languages : Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
