Abrakam is looking for a Game Design student with a passion for strategy and card games. The ideal candidate has been involved in student or personal projects in the strategy and/or card game genres, and has a strong aptitude for critical thinking and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify game systems (economy, battle mechanics, game logic, etc)
  
• Create content in which narration and gameplay blend perfectly together
  
• Script, playtest and balance game content
  
• Collaborate with other game designers, artists and developers to ensure a high level of quality implementation of game design specifications
  
• Supervise and monitor play testers via surveys, forums or discord
  
• Influence smart decisions to assist us creating great experiences that resonate with our players through a great understanding of players and their expectations
  

Requirements

• Eligibility for a 6 months intership in game design in Belgium (Liège)
  
• Experience with scripting languages
  
• Passion for strategy and card games
  
• Fluent in English
  
• Able to work on site (Liège, Belgium)
  
• Excellent communication skills
  
• Fast learner with a decent technical grip to quickly use our home made tools to script and playtest new game content
