A) Product familiarisation and asset management (30%)
  • 1) Ensure adequate knowledge of the products to be able to purpose media alert, press releases and press kits when appropriate
  • 2) Delivery of assets, providing clear restriction guidelines and embargoes to brand team, trade team, PR agency and media asset site team, and subsequently to media, as appropriate.
  • 3) Organised and timely saving and storage of assets in PR team folders to ensure easy accessibility and clear usage guidelines.
  • 4) Regular tracking of the European and global asset systems for new materials.
  • 5) Supervise and organise storage of PR products samples and oversee the products mailings
B) Driving positive game coverage with media, influencers and partners (20%)
  • 1) Develop thorough understanding of the broader media landscape, including social and digital product/industry influencers.
  • 2) Respond in a timely fashion to incoming media enquiries and general enquiries.
  • 3) Manage incoming media enquiries to the French PR team alias and respond in a timely and appropriate manner, conveying corporate messaging responsibly.
  • 4) Compile a strong library of media-approved product quotes for use in internal and external promotional materials.
  • 5) Assist in developing local activities with the PR team, ensuring a high standard execution and compiling outcomes and measurements out of each event.
D) Measurement & Reporting (35%)
  • 1) Oversee the compilation of, or directly compile, reports as requested concerning PR activities for Products led. The need for this may vary operationally.
  • 2) Review, scan and track all specialist gaming magazines, tagging coverage for scanning and highlighting coverage to PR team and broader where appropriate.
  • 3) Review, scan and track Influencers and YouTubers coverage, and highlight the relevant pieces to PR team and broader where appropriate.
  • 4) Provide regular update on industry or related-industry benchmarks and share with the PR management the latest trends worth noticing.
  • 5) Ensure prompt delivery of consumer coverage reports from PR agency teams.
  • 6) Clear filing within the ATVI PR files.
  • 7) Maintain regular reporting of PR activities to the PR Management team.
E) Agency partner and stakeholder involvement (15%)
  • 1) Assist Activision agency partners in local markets, such as PR, events etc
  • 2) Assist key Activision partners and stakeholder relationships as required
  • 3) Assist in planning the various PR events and press trips and support media booking, liaising with media and the local Office Manager
  • 4) Work with Activision brand and internal country teams to support ad-hoc requests and initiatives

Profil du candidat

  • Support public relations activities to ensure that products published and/or distributed by Activision Blizzard ("Products") are well represented in the media and hence to the public in the French market. Execute local strategies and programmes developed by France PR Managers, and be in accordance with the PR Mission Statement, the overall corporate policy of Activision Blizzard.
  • The main focus of the role is to support French PR teams in driving local initiatives, ensuring the smooth delivery of the day-to-day needs of the PR department. The role requires integrated working with one or more external agencies that will help to deliver comprehensive PR exposure.
  • The Assistant, Public Relations will also work closely with other French functions, (including the PR, Sales and Marketing teams) to ensure a smooth execution of the PR plans.
  • The Assistant, Public Relations is expected to be proactive in planning, to share creative ideas and to aspire to a certain level of autonomy.

Informations supplémentaires

Our French office is based in Levallois, 20 minutes from the "Champs Elysées" and 5 minutes from Paris. As well as an onsite canteen, the office is conveniently surrounded by amenities such as a bakery, a pharmacy, various restaurants and bars and also a large shopping mall with many boutique shops. The subway station is a few steps away from the building and takes you straight to St Lazare, one of the biggest stations in central Paris. Alternatively, the train station is about a 20 minute walk.
