Notre studio français, basé à Cergy et spécialisé dans le co-développement de jeux XboxOne, PS4 et PC, s'étoffe afin de compléter une équipe talentueuse ayant déjà travaillé sur plusieurs titres remarquables, parmi lesquels Batman - Return to Arkham (2016), L.A. Noire : The V.R. Case Files (2017), Vampyr (2018), Assassin's Creed Liberation Remastered (2019) et The Outer Worlds (2019), ainsi que d'autres tout aussi prestigieux en développement.

Pour nos projets en cours et à venir, nous recherchons un développeur motivé par des missions polyvalentes, axées autour de la programmation graphique PC ou console, et pouvant couvrir au besoin un périmètre plus large incluant l'implémentation, l'analyse et l'optimisation de composants d'un moteur de jeu, l'amélioration de systèmes visuels, le développement de gameplay, ou l'intégration de technologies de pointes.

Business Developer Europe - Location Paris

Position Duties

This role reports to the Senior Business Development Manager Europe and covers responsabilities such as Account Management and business development.

Account Management
Facilitate regular, timely and thorough communication with clients to maintain strong business relationships and identify projected production The Business Development Manager will be involved in extensive interaction with clients and with organization team across units around the world. The role primarily involves spotting and developing business opportunities in existing accounts and/or prospect in Europe, East Europe, Middle East. It also involves operational responsibilities relating to revenue, receivable and client satisfaction

Ultimately, as BD, you will collaborate with our sales team to achieve quotas while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and service in the long run. Consists of :
  • Engaging with clients and liaise with production teams to facilitate production needs
  • Assisting Virtuos teams in managing project development and planning
  • Collaborating with Producers and Art Directors on a regular basis to meet client/studio's requests
  • Set and manage client's expectations
  • Communicating project plans with clients and provide feedback to Virtuos teams
  • Facilitating calls / meetings between clients and Virtuos teams in China / Vietnam
  • Managing and monitoring progress with contracts, agreements, invoices
  • Leading initial calls with potential new clients
  • Manage client feedback during and post project as a part of Virtuos internal improvement process
  • Gain industry knowledge on clients' upcoming titles and potential productions cycles in an effort to foresee potential needs.
  • Establish trusted and long-standing relationships with clients in an effort to serve them better and more effectively.

Business Development :
  • Do Business Development initiatives and strategies in Europe area ; including identifying new studios, products, and contacts, as well as gathering data and preparing reports
  • Assist global sales efforts in fulfilling production capacity gaps
  • Salesforce management and account tracking
  • Sales & Marketing Operations & Admin
  • General administration

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher, in business and/or entertainment production
  • Passion for understanding the games and entertainment industry.
  • Already based in Paris.
  • French speaker and English must be fluent.
  • Equivalent of 2 to 4 years of experience in games or entertainment production
  • Ability to multi-task different timelines and deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple project simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation.
  • Understanding of Salesforce is a bonus.

Additional Information

Travel required time to time to visit clients and attend shows, around 4 days a month.
