PowerZ

PowerZ was born in the summer of 2020, right after lockdown, with one ambitious goal : to revolutionize how kids learn - through video games !

We're still a small and close-knit team, but we're dreaming big. Really big. And no matter how much we grow, we'll always keep our human-centered values at the heart of everything we do.

$Our Mission

We're building a vast, magical world where kids can explore, play, think, feel - and most importantly, learn. Whether it's math or history, grammar or creativity, we believe every subject should be engaging, accessible, and fun !

Before starting PowerZ, our co-founders built Shadow (Next 40), where they led the company as CEO, CTO, CPO, and CMO. Eventually, they decided to turn their experience toward something deeply meaningful : creating a game that could make education truly inspiring for kids. That's how PowerZ was born.

The idea caught fire. Within a year, we raised over €10 million in funding and brought on board major partners like Hachette, Bayard, EduCapital, Raise Ventures, and even some names you might recognize - like Edouard Mendy and Hugo Lloris. We started in France, but quickly expanded to the U.S., where 140K+ kids are already playing PowerZ - and that number keeps growing every day.

But we're just getting started. To bring our vision to life, we need more creative, driven people who believe in the power of play and the future of education.

Because we believe learning should be a shared, joyful experience. And when we give kids confidence, curiosity, and wonder - we help shape a better world.

$Responsabilités
  • Intégrer les interfaces utilisateur (menus, HUD, feedbacks de gameplay, etc.) dans Unreal Engine 5.
  • Mettre en place la logique de fonctionnement de l'interface, via les Blueprints et l'UMG.
  • Travailler avec les designers pour assurer la fidélité visuelle et l'ergonomie des maquettes dans le jeu.
  • Gérer les transitions, animations et feedbacks visuels liés aux actions du joueur.
  • Optimiser les performances et la réactivité de l'interface.

Profil recherché

$Compétences
  • Maîtrise de Unreal Engine 5 (a minima UMG, Blueprints, Widgets).
  • Connaissances en C++ pour l'extension de fonctionnalités UI.
  • Capacité à traduire un design UI en éléments interactifs fonctionnels
  • Expérience dans les interfaces responsives, qui s'adaptent à la résolution de l'écran de l'utilisateur, surtout sur mobile
  • Optimiser les performances et la réactivité de l'interface.

$Bonus
  • Connaissances en Shader / Material Editor
  • Sensibilité artistique en animation et capacité à les réaliser sur le moteur
  • Connaissance en Niagara System (FXs)
  • Création de widget personnalisés et spécifiques avec Slate
