ZeDrimeTim is an independent video game studio, based in Paris and founded by veterans from the Video Game, Animation and Visual Effects industries. We are currently working on "Darwin's Paradox", an adventure game with an endearing hero, unique gameplay mechanics and a strong art direction. The game is developed on Unreal Engine 5 for PC and consoles.

Technical Artist (remote or on-site)

Position Duties

We are looking for an experienced Technical Artist, working on-site or remotely, to be the bridge between our artist and programmers. With a strong knowledge of Unreal Engine, you will help to create tools and pipeline improvements for our artists and make their life easier. You will also make sure that all art assets are optimized for the targeted platforms and performances.

What you'll be doing
  • Help our artists to improve their workflow in Unreal Engine
  • Spot and solve technical problems for our artists
  • Create and integrate technical art content in the game : shaders, VFX, etc
  • Assess and improve performances and optimization of the art assets for consoles and PC

Candidate Profile

What we're looking for
  • Solid knowledge of Unreal Engine
  • Have already shipped console games
  • 3+ years' experience working in video games in a similar role
  • Ability to share and receive feedback and to contribute to a creative environment
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to self-critique
  • Be solution oriented and have good problem-solving skills
