QA tester

Fixed term contract Montpellier (34)

Position Duties

Our label Dear Villagers works with talented developers / studios from around the world to help them achieve their projects' highest goals.
As a QA Tester, you will be an integral part of that process from the beginning as you verify the quality of each game build we receive.

You will :
  • Verify that each build is stable enough for the other Villagers to play.
  • Provide feedback for every build (milestones or intermediate) from very early in the development process through game launch.
  • Contribute to reports which help others understand each game's development status.
  • Create video clips which demonstrate where quality can be improved in each game.
  • Submit issues / feedback with just enough detail (and plenty of screenshots / videos ! ).
  • Validate issues when they have been reportedly resolved in a new build.

Candidate Profile

  • Fluent in English and French
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Well organized
  • Versality and capacity to adapt to very different game projects
  • Solid knowledge of video game design and common game tropes
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position (or equivalent education)

6-months fixed term contract
